As part of our Girls Hygiene Project, we are training older girls and mothers to make cotton sanitary pads. We'd love to see this project grow into a small business as participants make pads to sell on the local market, and for that we need a treadle sewing machine. Donations that help people create income through work are the best way to combat poverty in the long run!
